- In 19th century, it was estimated that one out of every three American factory had workers between the ages of seven to twelve year old ("child labor").
- In 1900, there were about 2 million children that were employed in mining and manufacturing business ("Child Labor").
- Since 2000, the child labor among girls went down by 40%, while the boys went down by 25% (Child Labour).
